Talking to animals: Science fiction or future reality

Have you felt the necessity of knowing all that your pet thinks of? On the other hand, it could be your want to talk to a wise owl or to play with a dolphin that has been dreaming of your childhood. Trancing communication with animals has long been an element only of cartoons and books, but could it actually occur someday?

How animals communicate with each other:

While we can not have full conversations with animals today, it is possible that with the further development of animal language, we will be able to have more meaningful interactions with the animals. In foreign places, we don't speak their language, they don't speak our language, either. Actually, scientists are becoming better and better in the field of studying animals’ special character of communication between themselves. Animals can communicate through sounds signals, body and even electric messages.

Here's the exciting part: In effort to communicate these animal signals, which are produced by them, some researchers are working on the process of conversion such signals into sendable bits to us. Think of a disposition that shows a dog's bark to be "I'm hungry!" or whatever device that would interpret a bird's song into a bright tune.

We may not be building a world where we can have a conversational philosophy with animals, but there are some concrete opportunities that could improve the life of animals. Through this research, the scientists also want to apply this kind of study to enhance training and care of animals. Deciphering what an animal needs emotionally and physically could be the key to shaping a good environment and provide medial help, too.

Now, might be over a century before we talk with animals because that’s not a science fiction anymore. This future might have distributed communication devices that help us in building the bridge between people and their picturesque companions, whether they are feathery, scaly or furry.
